With the world’s most dynamic and style-focused festival on the horizon, our eyes are fixed on what our very own Coachella-bound It girl and resident stylist, Winnie, is going to be wearing. She believes that if there is one thing more exciting than the line-up, it’s the opportunity to plan your outfits. Harbouring an incredible eye for detail and fearless approach to style, we couldn’t help but wonder exactly… What will she be wearing? Who is she going to be seeing?
Her response? “Get ready babe, I’m going to show you.” So here it is, her Coachella capsule.
Day 1 – Kygo
Day one is a nod to classic festival style but in a way you weren’t prepared for. A graphic tee from RudeRiders layered with our IRO leather jacket add an edge to a Western-inspired look. Pairing back with a James Jean neutral khaki short and a HTC belt, we’re getting all kinds of wild, wild west vibes. But the true pièce de résistance falls to these hand-crafted Mexicana ankle boots (when we asked Winnie how much she loves these, she told us that the inside of her soul is wall-papered with photos of them). To top it off (literally) she’s rocking a hat from HTC, because, well festival.
Day 2 – Beyonce
Hold up. What better way to see the Queen herself than wearing an outfit that could stop a train in its tracks with its sheer power. Maybe we’re exaggerating, but we just really love this look you guys. In a place like Coachella where there are no limitations on fashion, she’s opted to play with loud contrasting patterns and textures in a way that seems to result in perfect harmony. The gold stud embellishments on this L’Agence jacket work to compliment her pair of Robin’s jeans, which she’s then worn with an Equipment tank and a textured pair of Mexicana ankle boots. The finishing touch lies with an Arabella Rocha choker – cool yet feminine.
Day 3 – Eminem
Her day three look is all about losing herself in the moment. Pun intended. She picked this blouse from Haute Hippie because her love affair with the bead detailing and intricate embroidery needed to go global. Plus she loves the movement that the beaded fringe offers when she moves. No really, trying to get her to stand still while taking this shot was a mission. Coupled with a HTC belt and a pair of leather RTA shorts, it’s fair to say she’s put together an outfit to remember.
